Spent the 4th at Pete’s house with his family and his cousin Greg
It was me and Jim Berlantz and my brother Doug

We lit firecrackers and held them while the fuse went down and tried
To throw them before they went off in our hands

Then Russ called said, do you still have that old Econoline van?
The one you bought from that dude when you were high?
Yeah



We’ll push the van down the hill
Out behind the junior high

We should push the van down the hill
The dirt hill by the junior high



I was at the junior high, says Russ, and stoned on my dirt bike
And that big hill is so rad, goes down to the creek

We met there, stripped the van, put m-80s and paint cans in
Took three of us to push it off and it went

Hit some rocks, tipped onto its side, hit some more and it started to roll
Paint and explosions all the way down the hill

Man I never been so high



Russ had taped it, duped the tape, and copies started going around
I said the van was stoled and they towed it away

Next week Russ said meet him there and we did and we saw
A whole bunch of guys and a lot of vans

All day long we pounded beers and did bong hits and we yelled
As fourteen vans crashed down that fucking hill


We pushed the vans down the hill
Out behind the junior high

Nothing ever felt that good again
Man I’ve never been so high
